The 1710 Gould Barn is owned by the Topsfield Historical Society and is located next to the
1683 Parson Capen House, a National Historic Register Monument.
The Gould Barn is a wonderful place to have a wedding, or celebration of any kind. The relocation, restoration, and modernization of this circa 1710 barn in the early 1990’s created the perfect rustic venue for gatherings of up to 95 people, with heat, a full kitchen, and two restrooms,
The afternoon sun warms the barn doors that open out to the wide lawn, ideal for games or outdoor seating. The Gould Barn is next to the antique Parson Capen House with its historic herb garden, and across from Topsfield Common, a quintessential New England landmark.
At any time of year, whether your style is casual or formal, the Gould Barn provides a great medium-sized space in which to create your custom event, such as a wedding, anniversary, family reunion, or company gathering.
